I’m naturally heavily involved with my company, Vesta Preferred Realty. The entrepreneurial spirit is deeply rooted in my family’s exodus since 1985. My family immigrated to the United States with eight suitcases and $500. They settled in the Detroit area, and I dreamed of a career in veterinary medicine. But in my junior year in college, I decided business—not medicine—was my calling. I needed to find something where my success relied heavily on my work ethic and drive. A position at a Chicago real estate company fit the bill! Today, I own a company that targets Chicago’s robust rental market. I focus my agents on the effective execution of daily activities that, over an extended period of time, yield great results. I have also achieved great results at the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, where I created a mentoring program for the Young Professionals Network and helped to develop a leasing course for agents. Most recently, I have been honored by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® as the Nation’s “30 under 30″ REALTOR®.
